  • Cancer Registry Education Program (AHIMA)

  • 2007-2008 Webinars

  • Computer-Based Training (temporarily unavailable)  MCR now offers several computer-based training modules designed for cancer reporters who are not certified tumor registrars. The modules cover a variety of topics including information about the Missouri Cancer Registry, cases finding for low-volume hospitals, as well as modules for physician offices about using Web Plus, the internet-based reporting program. The user first must register to obtain an account to access the training modules and it may take a day or two to receive the registration information (user ID and password). Once the user receives that via e-mail, however, the site may readily be accessed at the user’s convenience, any time of night or day. In addition, users may take a quiz after each module and based on the score, will receive a certificate of completion. The modules are available at http://dcomplx.umh.edu/

    The courses currently offered include:
    • Finding Cases for Low-Volume Facilities (Formerly known as Circuit Riding Facilities)

    • Melanoma Reporting Using Paper Forms

    • Melanoma Reporting Using Web Plus

    • Missouri Cancer Registry Course (Information about the Missouri Cancer Registry)

    • Web Plus Web-Based Training Course (Using Web Plus for Cancer Reporting)
