Trust for America's Health
(TFAH): This is a non-profit, non-partisan organization dedicated to saving lives by protecting the health of every community and working to make disease prevention a national priority. In 2003, TFAH released a report that examined how well state health agencies were doing in their efforts to track, control and prevent cancer, and awarded grades on a state-by-state basis. Missouri was one of twelve states to receive an "A."
